Private by design. Your uploaded PDF is processed in memory to create the CSV and is not stored.

Always review before importing. Compare totals and a sample of transactions with the original statement before reconciliation, tax filing, or accounting import.

Why Bank of America statements don't import into QuickBooks directly

QuickBooks imports bank data from CSV, not PDF, so a Bank of America statement has to be converted first. BofA lists each section separately with its own subtotal; the converter merges them back into one date-ordered ledger. You get one clean, QuickBooks-ready ledger instead of fighting merged cells and split columns.

How to import a Bank of America statement into QuickBooks Online

  1. 1. Convert the statement. Upload your Bank of America statement PDF and download the categorized CSV.
  2. 2. Open the bank upload. In QuickBooks Online: Transactions → Bank transactions → Upload from file.
  3. 3. Map & import. Map Date, Description, and Amount to the CSV columns and import.
