Why Monzo statements don't import into Wave directly
Wave imports bank data from CSV, not PDF, so a Monzo statement has to be converted first. Monzo emoji-tags categories in-app; the converter maps them onto a plain category set that spreadsheets and accounting tools understand. You get one clean, Wave-ready ledger instead of fighting merged cells and split columns.
How to import a Monzo statement into Wave Accounting
