Convert a PNC statement to FreshBooks

FreshBooks won't read a PDF, and PNC won't export straight to FreshBooks. Convert your PNC statement into a clean, categorized CSV, then import it into FreshBooks in a couple of clicks.

Private by design. Your uploaded PDF is processed in memory to create the CSV and is not stored.

Always review before importing. Compare totals and a sample of transactions with the original statement before reconciliation, tax filing, or accounting import.

Why PNC statements don't import into FreshBooks directly

FreshBooks imports bank data from CSV, not PDF, so a PNC statement has to be converted first. PNC Virtual Wallet spreads transactions across sub-accounts; the converter consolidates them into one date-ordered list. You get one clean, FreshBooks-ready ledger instead of fighting merged cells and split columns.

How to import a PNC statement into FreshBooks

  1. 1. Convert the statement. Upload your PNC statement PDF and download the categorized CSV.
  2. 2. Open the importer. In FreshBooks: Expenses → the import/upload option, or Accounting → Bank Connections → Upload.
  3. 3. Map & import. Match Date, Description/Merchant, and Amount to the CSV columns and import.
