Private by design. Your uploaded PDF is processed in memory to create the CSV and is not stored.

Always review before importing. Compare totals and a sample of transactions with the original statement before reconciliation, tax filing, or accounting import.

Why U.S. Bank statements don't import into Sage directly

Sage imports bank data from CSV, not PDF, so a U.S. Bank statement has to be converted first. U.S. Bank shows a daily balance summary alongside transactions; the converter uses the per-row running balance where present. You get one clean, Sage-ready ledger instead of fighting merged cells and split columns.

How to import a U.S. Bank statement into Sage Accounting

  1. 1. Convert the statement. Upload your U.S. Bank statement PDF and download the categorized CSV.
  2. 2. Open the bank account. In Sage Accounting: Banking → select the account → Connect/Import → Import Statement.
